New York, NY, January 19, 2016 – Lightyear Capital LLC, a New York-based private equity firm focused on financial services investing, is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Freyman to Managing Director. Mr. Freyman will draw upon his nearly two decades of experience in financial services as he joins Lightyear’s Investment Committee.
Mr. Freyman joined Lightyear in 2007, prior to which he worked at Credit Suisse for nine years advising financial institution clients on mergers and acquisitions and capital raises. He began his career at Alex. Brown. Mr. Freyman holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University.
